3D Machining and engraving an ice press! Not only was this a fun project for a good friend, it also ties back to manufacturing entrepreneurship, product ideas, and ways to start your CNC business! We're using the thermal conductivity of aluminum to mold ice into skull-shaped cubes for edgy and sophisticated drinks!
First, we'll turn the mold on the manual lathe and then use 3D adaptive and 2D contour strategies to get an amazingly smooth surface. Along the way, we'll cover speeds, feeds, tips, and tricks.
