Important CNC Business Rule - NEVER Allow Haggling of Price, Make Money

If you are wondering about starting a CNC business, there are some ground rules you must place on yourself as you venture into your business. One is about haggling.

If you’re wondering about pricing your CNC projects, whether from a CNC router, CNC laser, or another CNC machine), the one thing to remember is to never haggle for pricing. Set your prices based on your worth, the time you put into the project, the cost of materials, like wood, and the venue. Woodworking projects are worth the price you want to charge to the right person.

Haggling will happen at live events, like craft shows. Always be aware of the "money mindset" of the venue you are selling at. Cheap mindsets equal lower income and more hagglers.

A haggler is undermining your value. Never never never allow yourself to haggle. Instead, turn the worth of the CNC project back on them by asking why the project is important to them. Dig for the emotional value behind it.

Once you can understand the value you see in it, and build repport, you will be like;y to get the sale from them due to the rule of reciprocity.
