Modeling a tapered engraving tool in Fusion 360--we've been doing it wrong. It's no secret how much we love the Lakeshore Carbide 20 degree engraver with its beautiful results and a phenomenal price point for a high-quality carbide tool. For years now, we've modeled it as a chamfer tool but today, let's walk through how to model it properly, one key piece of information that was tripping us up, AND how to leverage CAD to find unknown dimensions.
