Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence to Showcase Productivity – Enhancing Solutions at Control 2018

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will showcase how its range of solutions deliver manufacturing productivity at the annual Control event from 24-27 April. Attendees will be able to see in action technologies enhancing inspection efficiency, automation, management, and data analysis.

Billed as the world’s leading trade fair for industrial quality assurance, Control offers visitors the chance to explore theory and practical presentations of technologies, processes, and system solutions from providers from around the globe. To demonstrate how its range of solutions meet industry-wide automation requirements, Hexagon will showcase a fully automated robotic cell, featuring a laser tracker system to measure large volume workpieces such as automotive and aerospace parts, alongside a fully automated CMM area with a self-driving KUKA robot to load and unload measurements on a CMM.

Visitors to Hexagon’s stand will experience a number of world-exclusives, including the debut of Hexagon’s white light measurement solution BLAZE 600A and Optiv Performance 322 , the highly-customisable benchtop multisensor coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Attendees will also be able to see the new GLOBAL S, a bridge-type CMM and the first of Hexagon’s enhanced productivity series (EPS) that allows users to target their particular productivity drivers by configuring the machine with capability packages, each distinguished by a focus on enhancing throughput, precision, application flexibility, and shop-floor integration.

Visitors will also witness the power of data in productivity enhancement, with demonstrations of the complete capabilities of the statistical process control (SPC) software in Hexagon’s Q-DAS portfolio. Attendees can also learn about the potential of increased solutions connectivity and process workflow optimisation with HxGN SMART Quality, the online quality data analysis and measurement resource management software platform.

There’s increasing pressure on quality professionals to make their operations more efficient. At Hexagon we continually explore what systems and technologies can be developed or improved to give professionals more opportunities throughout the inspection process to enable enhanced productivity,” says Marcel Brand, Director Marketing & Communications EMEA. “Control is an unmissable event and opportunity for us to really understand our fellow professionals’ needs and discuss how our solutions can enhance their productivity.
