Autodesk Fusion 360 | In-Process Probing with Haas Automation

A digital probe is one of the best investments you can make for your Haas CNC. To take full advantage, though, you'll also want Fusion 360 paired with the Machining Extension. WCS probing is just the start. With the Fusion 360 Machining Extension, you can take you probing capabilities far beyond just setting your WCS. You can program your digital probe to probe already machined surfaces and use that information to update tool wear, automatically output inspection reports and a whole lot more. You can even probe a casting or 3D printed part to correct for misalignments when doing post machining. All of this is available so you can reduce scrap, improve quality and spend more time cutting chips instead of setting up parts between jobs.

In this live event, Al Whatmough from Autodesk will walk you through machining an example part, showing you how Fusion 360 + Wireless Intuitive Probing System will help you get the most out of your Haas machine tool. If you already own a Haas CNC with the Wireless Intuitive Probing System, come see how Fusion 360 will help you take full advantage of the hardware you already paid for. If you already own a Haas CNC, but don't have a digital probe, come see why the upgrade is worth it. Lastly, if you are not programming your Haas with Fusion 360, come see why Fusion 360 is Haas Automation's preferred CAD + CAM software.
