Amada Miyachi Europe announces it will be highlighting a range of equipment and solutions at Precision Fair 2018 at Booth 196 . The fair will be held 14-15 November 2018 at NH Conference Centre, Koningshof Veldhoven, Germany.
Amada Miyachi Europe experts will be on hand to demonstrate the MacGregor micro arc welding power supply PA-200P with the new TR-16A touch retract welding torch and the MacGregor DC2013-T high duty DC spot welding power supply with smart weld head. Also on display will be the Janome JR3303 desktop robot, which will be highlighting its versatility by dispensing chocolate on cookies at the booth!
Visitors to the booth can get more information on Amada Miyachi Europe capabilities using a novel interactive app on display that highlights the company’s brands, solutions, service, applications, and technologies. A variety of interesting samples will be on show, including resistance and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding applications, as well as unique battery, coil, and dispensing applications.
The MacGregor Pulsed Arc Power Supply PA-200P featured is a precision pulsed arc-welding unit. It will be shown with the new TR-16A touch retract welding torch, a lightweight, handheld tool that allows easy manipulation of battery cans and tab materials in a bench-top production or R&D environment. The unit can also be mounted onto automation for full production. The TR-16A can weld copper, nickel, and aluminium battery tab materials up to a thickness of 0.5 millimetres (mm) onto 18650 and 2170 battery cans.
Offering a high degree of process control and real-time data capture, the MacGregor DC2013-T on display is a precision closed-loop servo-controlled resistance welding power supply ideal for spot weld verification and quality control. Fully closing the process loop on weld quality generation and verification within a single unit increases flexibility and reduces process and plant costs.
Visitors to the booth can also see the Janome Systems JR3303 desktop robot, a comprehensive package robot system that combines the highly rigid, high precision JR3000 Series robot with a camera, laser displacement sensor, and needle adjuster for precision dispensing on workpieces to create a machine vision system package. Part of the flagship JR 3000 series of multifunctional robots, the JR3303 offers structural rigidity for long-term, dependable use and a high speed tracking function for stability. With a maximum speed of 900 millimetres per second, the JR3303 is fieldbus compatible, for easy inclusion in automated assembly lines and automated work stations. Stop by to see robot in action – then stay to taste the results as the JR3303 skilfully dispenses delicious chocolate on a cookie.
